Commitment to sustainability.

Carbon negative impact on the environment

At ASP Data Center, sustainability is at the heart of how we design, build, and operate our data centers across the Nordics.

First, the energy we use comes entirely from renewable and sustainable hydropower, leaving our customers with a net zero carbon footprint.

Second, we strive to reuse the excess heat generated in our data centers. Where possible, we aim to recycle this heat into nearby production buildings, offices, and the local district heating network, giving our customers a carbon-negative impact on the environment by reducing CO₂ emissions.

A concrete example of this approach is our collaboration with Lyse, a leading energy and infrastructure company in Norway, where excess heat and district cooling from our K11 (Forus, Norway) data center will be integrated into Lyse’s energy network. This partnership not only helps heat local buildings efficiently but also demonstrates how ASP actively contributes to circular and sustainable energy solutions.
